Camp Director:  Michael Sye  has been with the Mind Spirit Body Youth Summer Camp since its inception in the summer of 2004. As a native of the Woodlawn, MD community and a graduate of Woodlawn High School, nothing gives him more pride than to return to his alma mater as an educator and to give back to his community by mentoring and developing young minds.  He is married to his long time sweetheart Rachel Sye and they have 2 children.

His Bachelor of Sciences degree in Sociology comes from the University of Deleware. Coach Sye is currently the Athletic Director at Woodlawn High School.  His past experience includes coaching Track at Woodlawn High School and Varsity Football at Randallstown High School and Woodlawn High School.


Camp Assistant Director:  Leonard Hart  has also been with the Mind Spirit Body Youth Summer Camp since its inception.  Coach Hart hails from Baltimore, MD and is a graduate of Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical School (MerVo).  One of the major joys of his life and career is witnessing the development and maturation of kids he has coached, educated and mentored.  He is married to Shontee' Hart and they have 1 child.

His Bachelor of Education degree in Physical Education and Health Education comes from Morgan State University. Coach Hart is currently the Department Chair of the Physical Education Department at at Woodlawn High School, and he coaches Varsity Football.  His past experience includes coaching Girls Varsity Softball, Girls Junior Varsity Softball, Varsity Wrestling, and Junior Varsity Wrestling at Woodlawn High School, and coaching Varsity Football at Lake Clifton High School and MerVo High School.


Camp Counselor:  Randall Cooper  has been with the Mind Spirit Body Youth Summer Camp since 2006.  He hails from Little Rock, AR and is a graduate of Parkview High School.  Coach Cooper is dedicated to educating and mentoring youth, helping them find their strengths and abilities, and helping them build the confidence to achieve their goals.  He is married to Anisa Cooper.

His Bachelor of Education degree in Physical Education with a minor in Special Education comes from Henderson State University.  Coach Cooper is currently a Physical Education teacher at Southwest Academy, and he coaches Varsity Football at Woodlawn High School.  He has taught at Woodlawn High School and Old Court Middle School.  His past coaching experience includes Girls Basketball and Basketball Intramurals (Boys and Girls) at Old Court Middle School, and Girls Junior Varsity Basketball and Girls Junior Varsity Softball at Woodlawn High School.
